Dj Dobra

Project/Collaboration Experience -
In 2016 I was a part of a group called Able Orchestra that was founded me Inspire Youth Arts. I helped produce a composition with live elements that was played at the Royal Albert Hall alongside the Halle Orchestra. 

In 2017 I discovered SoundTrap where I first started making music as a hobby. I published these tracks of SoundCloud and YouTube.

By 2018 I had produced two albums Soul Flame and Soul Chill in the pop and techno genres on SoundTrap which were my first steps to a career in music producing. 

In 2022 I joined a Nottinghamshire youth steering group for disabled people where a share my producing skills and have the opportunity to network with other local talents to benefit my career. 

Also in 2022 I founded CRE-O which is my music production company where I work under the name Dj Dobra. I use CRE-O for all my social media output and it is where fans and clients can reach me. 

In 2023 I have begun collaborating with local Nottinghamshire artist such as Taja, James and El creating a variety of tracks on Logic for vocals to be added.  

Education - 
I am currently completing a level 2 Music Production course at Confetti Institute of Creative Technologies. At Confetti I get access to high range equipment and recording studios. I am forecasted to get a distinction grade. (2022-2023) 

During my time at Confetti I have switched to producing on Logic which is the industry standard, I believe this switch will turn my hobby into a career. 

I plan to continue at Confetti doing a level 3 course Music Technologies in order to gain grades for university.
